Educational Aims of the Programme

The MBA aims to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to prepare learners for senior leadership and strategic management roles. The MBA provides learners with a holistic view of business using both theoretical knowledge and practical application. The central underpinning themes of the programme are transformation (both individual and organisational) and sustainable business practices. In addition, learners’ digital skills will be developed and enhanced to increase impact within these themes and the programme. As such, the curriculum aligns to emerging social and business approaches to maximise the impact learners can make individually, organisationally, and societally.

1. Critically appraise the theoretical underpinnings of business functions

2. Critically evaluate how the external environment impacts on organisations

3. Use critical and creative thinking alongside negotiation and influencing in an organisational context

4. Use relevant improvement and change methods and approaches to critically appraise an organisational issue

5. Evaluate sustainable options for business and organisational development

6. Examine the impact of disruptive technologies; drivers of change and new ways of working

7. Critically synthesise leadership theories and principles, including ethical and values-based approaches

8. Critically evaluate the social, environmental, and ethical impact of business decisions and activities in the context of corporate social responsibility

9. Critically appraise the use of multi-source data and analytics in support of management decision making

10. Critically evaluate financial statements and data to appraise and manage organisational risk

11. Critically apply knowledge of financial management to support organisational governance and strategic decision making

12. Critically analyse market strategies, brand and reputational management in the context of customer demands and trend analyses

13. Critically reflect on self to enhance personal and organisational impact

14. Investigate organisational issues and propose viable solutions utilising evaluative, analytical, and creative skills

15. Apply concepts, knowledge, and skills to own individual and organisational context

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements for admission are:

  • An accredited UK Honours degree with minimum 2.2 classification or international equivalent PLUS at least 2 years senior management experience in which the student contributes to strategy and has influence within their organization.  Some related professional qualifications at the appropriate level may also be considered. 
  • Official transcripts from all universities, colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions attended.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS (Academic) with an overall score of at least 6.0 (and no individual component lower than 5.5) or equivalent English language qualifications. Students who do not hold the above English language qualifications are required to take the online Academic English Placement Test. This is an IELTS-type test (Reading & Writing) where an overall score of 6.0 (with no individual component lower than 5.5) is required.
  • Personal Statement (minimum 500 words) explaining why the programme interests the student, what makes the student a suitable candidate, how the programme will benefit the student's career progression and any relevant skills or work experience that will support the application. 
  • Up to date CV
  • Two references (academic or professional) listed on CV stating referee’s full name, contact details, and relationship to the applicant.

Applications from non-standard applicants are welcome and will be considered individually.

Unicaf offers generous scholarships through the Unicaf Scholarship Programme which was founded to offer students the opportunity to further their education, by earning internationally recognised qualifications, at low cost, through online study.

Unicaf reserves the right to amend the prices quoted thereafter in line with the Organizations' Pricing Policy. Fees are payable to Unicaf.

Total Fees comprise the following:

  • Tuition Fees – GBP: 14600.00
  • Application Fee – GBP 35.00 (N1)
  • Induction Fee – GBP 100 (N1)
  • Technology Fee – GBP 270 (N1)
  • Programme Completion Fee – GBP 50.00 (N1)
  • Service Fee – GBP 30.00. (N1) (N2)

Note 1: These fees do not fall under any Scholarship Award and are in addition to the Tuition Fees.

Note 2: Will apply if the Total Fee is not settled in a lump sum payment and the student elects to settle the Total Fees in instalments. The Service Fee is calculated at GBP 30.00 per instalment. A Late Payment charge will be charged against all instalments not paid on time.
